Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of ArcBunny. By creating an account, uploading a book, or distributing advance review copies (ARCs), you agree to them.
Content ownership and warranty
You warrant that you own, or are fully licensed to use and distribute, all content you upload to ArcBunny — including both the manuscript and the cover art. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share this material with readers. You retain all rights to your work; ArcBunny claims no ownership and uses your content only to operate the ARC distribution you configure.
Platform exclusivity (Amazon KDP Select / Kindle Unlimited)
Distributing ARC files may affect your enrollment in programs that require digital exclusivity, such as Amazon KDP Select / Kindle Unlimited. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the terms of any such program, and at each publish you confirm that this title is not yet live on Kindle Unlimited and that your ARC will close before its release date. ArcBunny is not liable for any consequence to your exclusivity status arising from your distribution of ARCs.
DMCA / copyright takedown
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content hosted on ArcBunny infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to hello@arcbunny.com including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material, (3) your contact information, and (4) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the material and notify the author.
Acceptable use
You may not use ArcBunny to distribute unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to circumvent the per-reader watermarking that protects authors. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Mature content
ArcBunny supports fiction written for adult audiences, including mature and explicit themes within the manuscript itself, which is delivered privately as watermarked copies only to readers the author has approved. However, the two elements shown publicly on an ARC's landing page — the cover image and the book description (blurb) — must not contain sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW imagery or text. We may take offline or suspend any ARC whose public cover or blurb violates this.
Billing & payments
ArcBunny sells one-time ARC credits — no subscriptions, no recurring charges. Your first ARC is free, up to 10 approved readers. Beyond that, you buy a credit (a Launch Pass or a Launch Deck); each credit publishes one ARC at a higher approved-reader cap. Credits never expire. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy an ARC credit, your order is sold and fulfilled by Dodo Payments, and your payment, billing, and any applicable taxes are handled by them under their own terms and privacy policy.
Refunds. ArcBunny credits give you immediate access to a digital service, so purchases are generally non-refundable. As a goodwill exception, if you have not yet used a purchase — you have not published or distributed any ARC with it — you may contact us at hello@arcbunny.com and we may, at our discretion, arrange a refund. Publishing an ARC consumes the credit (or your free first launch); once a credit or your free launch has been used to publish or distribute an ARC, that purchase is no longer eligible for a refund. If a purchase is refunded or charged back after its ARC has been published or distributed, we may take the affected ARC(s) offline, expire outstanding download links, and suspend the account.
Disclaimer
ArcBunny is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for how readers handle copies once delivered, though watermarking is designed to deter and trace unauthorized sharing.
